Saturday Morning Breakfast grew from a small men's bible study in 2004 to the self-proclaimed Best Breakfast in America now!  We challenge you to find better free food anywhere in the nation, or more of it.  On average we serve 200 people every Saturday on a 50 foot buffet line full of delicious food.  Breakfast starts at nine and lasts for one hour.  The main entree changes every week and can be anything from French Toast to Eggs Benedict!  It's a true community experience and not a homeless meal.  The church lady sits next to homeless man, and the family of four sits next to the prostitute.  All races are welcome and come.  It's an experience like none other in the inner city! 

This is a great way your church or small group to get involved!  It takes an enormous amount of effort to pull this off every Saturday.  Hendrik starts cooking at one o'clock the morning of the breakfast and it takes a minimum of 12 servers plus a handful of washers to run smoothly.  Individuals or groups are welcome to help with serving or preparing.  Please contact Hendrik at (510) 381-3504 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
